Added a tutorial on how to setup HLSS for the game SourceForts. I will be adding more tutorials for other games soon. If you would like me to write a tutorial for a certain game you want to use HLSS in, post the game's name in the forums, or contact me by email. Also in this update, I have made a few grammar and spelling error fixes that came from the new layout.

Welcome to the new HLSS.US! After a few all nighters, I have completely re-designed the website with a brand new layout, and updated all tutorials and articles! Everything was re-worded and re-designed to be simpler to the users. Also, you can now see forum stats and recent forum activity in the navigation menu to the left from any page you visit. I could go on and on about the changes I've made... so just browse around the site and take a look for yourself :) There will surely be some broken links/images, bugs, spelling and grammar errors, etc... so post in the forums if you find ANY problems at all with the new layout, or email me. I will be working throughout the weekend to fix all the little problems, if any, that we encounter. Hope everyone likes the new layout! Thanks and enjoy!

The FAQ page was cleaned up with a little bit of javascript. Now all the answers are hidden until you click the question, and then the answer shows right below it. Much nicer :) Post in the forums if you find any problems with this new feature, thanks!

I have re-worded the setup tutorials a little bit to make it easier to understand. If you have any suggestions on other things that could be changed, email me and let me know. Also, the RealVNC help topic (Advanced HLSS Setup) mentioned in the last update has been up and running for a few weeks now, but is not getting put to use! Be sure to make use of that if you are having problems setting up HLSS. We will be glad to help you!

There is now a new topic on the forums called RealVNC Help. RealVNC allows another person to connect securely to your computer and control it as if they were right next to you. You can watch what they are doing live, and can control when they can log in, kick them off, the password needed to login, etc. All in all, it's a very safe tool to use for remote access. We will be using RealVNC to connect to computers for those of you who still need help setting up HLSS but just cant figure it out. SCARFACE is the moderator of that topic, and he will be the main person connecting to computers and helping. He is a dedicated forum member, and knows HLSS very well. Of course, other members can offer to help by using RealVNC too. The topic is currently locked while we prepare a tutorial on how to set up RealVNC, so stay tuned!

Updated the forum rules. One of the changes made reduces the strictness of avatars and signatures that members can use. Also made some grammar and wording changes.

We are now #1 on Google for the keyword 'HLSS'! That probably doesn't mean a whole lot to the visitors, but it will definitely help the site get more popular. Thanks to everyone for helping make HLSS.US the best site on the internet for everything HLSS related. I am currently looking in to a new layout for the website. If you have some suggestions/comments about that, visit the forums and let us know.

Happy Late Birthday to HLSS.US! HLSS.US turned 1 year old on March 23. There's not much news in the HLSS world though, but I like to update once in a while just to let you know we're still here. If you have any ideas or suggestions that you think would make HLSS.US better, email me and let me know. That's all for now. Don't forget to sign up on our forums!

Update on forum maintenance: Forums are back up! We have deleted all inactive accounts. Those of you who didn't click the link you were emailed after registering were classified as 'inactive'. In the future, while registering, you will be prompted with visual confirmation (typing the word in the image into a box) before you can create an account. This was all done because we had a little problem with a certain user spamming the registration process to make hundreds of inactive names. This shouldn't happen again :) Thanks and enjoy hlss.us!

There is now a set of rules you must agree to before you enter the forums. If you do not want to click "I agree" everytime you wish to browse the forums you can bookmark the forums once you get in to them. But please be aware that the rules can be updated at anytime without notice. Also, signatures and avatars are both enabled now. If you haven't signed up for the forums, do so right now! Even if you don't need help with HLSS there are plenty of other topics!
